RES (Reading Extinguisher Services) was established in 1985 and as a British Standards institute registered firm with a quality management system to BS EN ISO 9001 has expanded and grown from that day developing into new fire protection areas after starting RES Systems Limited in 2001. From 2013, RES was merged into RES Systems Ltd to form the RES Group trading as RES.
Our commitment to customer service and maintaining a high quality of work was reaffirmed in March 2008 by the extension of the RES Quality Management System to our Systems business achieving registered status to all our activities.
RES covers the South, South East, London and Central England. National coverage can be provided. Our engineers are DBS cleared. Our customer base ranges from residential properties and small businesses to multinational companies, Hospital trusts, Independent schools, LEA schools, colleges and councils.
The RES is a growing success and takes every step to guarantee our customers are fully covered by ensuring our engineers are fully trained and qualified to meet the latest standards and guidance released by enforcing authorities.

RES Systems continues to develop and grow to meet the requirements of our clients.
From servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems, RES Systems now maintains emergency lighting and designs, installs and commissions fire alarm systems through our own in house engineer team.
Our fire door maintenance services have expanded into new fire door installations and large upgrading works to meet the latest requirements of guidance documents and fire risk assessment reports.
RES is comprised of a highly trained, highly skilled and experienced team of committed individuals.

Stephen Flint is responsible for fire risk assessments and consultancy services, passive fire protection work including fire door maintenance.
